We are four humble men who love sports, but hate sports commentary. Peter Gammons is our hero and John Madden is our enemy. If you were to ask us our purpose, our answer would be simple: "We are forever locked in Mortal Kombat for the souls of sports fans everywhere. Statistics are our science and 'the immeasurable character of men' is the obsolete religion of blind faith. Our job is to prove that God doesn't exist and that athletes are merely cold, metal machines with no hearts or souls."
I think Oden is destined to end up as one of the NBA's biggest what if scenarios. He was a tremendous talent coming out of high school, but it doesnt seem like he can stay healthy, and will probably never become a dominant center in the league.
I dont even know if Oden falls into the "what-if" category, cause he has never shows that he can actually play. If this was Andrew Bynum or even Kevin Durant, then i would agree, but i have not seen Oden have the skills to be a Bill Russell type center in the NBA.
Zero offensive skills, and the highest foul/minute rate in the NBA. Dude has a lot to learn about basketball, and he doesnt have much time left given that he's 73 years old
Ugly game! Not as bad as last year's, but still bad.............................
ReplyDeleteOden has to learn he can't block everything.Happy Thanksgiving
