The Worst Sports Announcer In The World Competition (playoffs)

A loud thank you to everyone who voted in round 3 of The Worst Sports Announcer In The World Competition. We finally broke the curse of the tie carry over, though Joe Buck and Chip Caray made it a close one. In the end, we are left with four names: Morgan, Buck, Harrelson, and Mariotti. Each will duke it out in the playoffs (round 4) and only two names can move on. Who will take the inglorious crown of The Worst Sports Announcer In The World Competition? Only time will tell.

Quick side note: how did Ron Santo end up with more votes than D.J.? Yes, Santo is pretty bad, but he's nowhere near as bad as either Hawk or D.J. For proof, listen to a Sox game on the radio this season.

The voting now enters the playoffs, where you may only cast ONE vote per bracket. The top two vote-getting names from the last round (Morgan, Mariotti) will square off against the two guys with the least amount of votes (Buck, Harrelson). You can access voting for the playoffs by either clicking here (sorry, but the voting for the playoff round of The Worst Sports Announcer In The World Competition has closed) or by clicking the giant blue link atop the page. At the end of this round, we will be left with two names to square off head-to-head for the title of The Worst Sports Announcer In The World. Voting will be open until January 21. We at Game Of Inches appreciate your participation and feedback. Cast your vote now!
