We are four humble men who love sports, but hate sports commentary. Peter Gammons is our hero and John Madden is our enemy. If you were to ask us our purpose, our answer would be simple: "We are forever locked in Mortal Kombat for the souls of sports fans everywhere. Statistics are our science and 'the immeasurable character of men' is the obsolete religion of blind faith. Our job is to prove that God doesn't exist and that athletes are merely cold, metal machines with no hearts or souls."

Brian Cushing Loses His Defensive ROY Vote To... Brian Cushing
In response to a positive test in September that apparently showed Texas rookie LB and reigning rookie of the year Brian Cushing was on steroids last season, the AP decided to re-vote on the award. And the winner of the re-vote: Brian Cushing. Great job AP. Way to stick to football and all those "cheating scumbags." You made as much of a dent on steroids in sports as the Phoenix Suns did on changing the Arizona's legislatures mind about asking for papers by wearing "Los Suns" on their jerseys. Thank you for wasting our time AP.
He did not test positive for steroids, he tested positive for human chorionic gonadotropin which is a glycoprotein produced by the syncytiotrophoblast of the placenta in pregnant women and maintains the corpus luteum from degeneration allowing it to produce progesterone for the maintenance of the uterine lining
ReplyDeleteJeez, did you learn nothing in medical school sexy rexy
I've only been watching Sportscenter sporadically this week, but from what it sounds like, what he tested positive for was not even conclusively any performance enhancing drugs. He only has a small increase in some hormone or something which is technically within normal production levels anyway....
ReplyDeleteI don't know, but the AP trying to strip Cushing of his award is just dumb
apparently scientific proof has shown his weiner has shrunk by 1.3 inches in the past 2 years... sounds like 'roids to me
