We are four humble men who love sports, but hate sports commentary. Peter Gammons is our hero and John Madden is our enemy. If you were to ask us our purpose, our answer would be simple: "We are forever locked in Mortal Kombat for the souls of sports fans everywhere. Statistics are our science and 'the immeasurable character of men' is the obsolete religion of blind faith. Our job is to prove that God doesn't exist and that athletes are merely cold, metal machines with no hearts or souls."

Chicago, Philly, San Fran, New York, Boston, Atlanta, Denver, Minneapolis, and I think Miami will be one soon...
Anyone know the rest>
Oh, washington has the redskins, nats and wizards. I assume they have a hockey team too
I am doing this with Sexy Rexy: Arizona/Phoenix, Detroit, Dallas if you count Arlington for the Rangers.
i think you got them all. good job. especially DME who only knows baseball cities and had to guess about the other 3 sports
Cubsfan4evr and I had a hard time coming up with the 13th city. We put Dallas because it made the most sense- but we looked it up and Arlington is like half an hour away from Dallas. So why do the Rangers count as being "Dallas"?
Also, why does San Fran have 4? I count the Giants (MLB) and the 49ers (NFL)- and thats it. Are we also counting Oakland as well because then yes we do have 4, but the MLB and NFL have an Oakland team and a San Fran team so that seems BS. Golden State associates with both Oakland and San Fran but that's still 3 for each city. Which then could leave (and yes I had to look this up) the San Jose sharks which are the closest NHL team to either city. And if we do count the Sharks then that's a HUGE stretch. To group San Jose/ Oakland/ San Fran into one city seems BS to me- especially because I'm sure people from the Bay area associate with either one set of teams versus another.
Lastly, can we put East Rutherford New Jersey on this list? The Jets, Giants, and Nets all play in that city and the Devils (yes I also had to look this up) play in New Jersey as well. New York, NY will still have four teams (Yankees, Mets, Knicks, Islanders) but East Rutherford, NJ will also have four (Jets, Giants, Nets, Devils). Why does the city in front of your team name equal a city your associated with? And if that is the logic, why then are the Texas Rangers who play in Arlington automatically associated with Dallas?
i got that question from sporcle.com so complain to them
