As of today, ESPN, Yahoo and CBS's fantasy baseball sites have gone live. Baseball season also begins soon (Pitchers and Catchers report in one week). As people awake from their summertime sports slumbers from the chilly winter of our discontent (NFL, NBA, NCAA, tennis...just kidding), it's time to start research. Come March 10, I will post my xBABIP-based Batting Projections for the 284 hitters who accumulated 300+ PA last season in addition to my "top 50 value pitchers for 2010."
Until then, I strongly urge the following:
1) Check out the "Fantasy Outlook" tag; it has some great analysis that remains relevant beyond last season
2) Check out DME's Pitcher Drafting Strategy and my Saves article about why it is better to wait until the later rounds to draft your closers.
3) Practice your strategy early and often. Check out the mock draft/auction lobbies at MockDraftCentral.com, Yahoo.com and ESPN.com.

You made some good recommendations of some good resources. You should have put a plug to see if anyone wants to join a league. We have many of those opportunities.
