David MVP Eckstein: Sportswriter
As of now, I've tentatively accepted a writing position for the sports section of DeKalb's Northern Star newspaper. I plan to continue my amazing blog contributions (and finally start watching football/basketball...sigh).

I think mine is cooler too, so after like half an hour of fiddling around with my post, after I finally got it to post- you post this like two seconds later making it the lead and already burying my second of fame. FOR SHAME!
by "sports" section do you actually mean "sport"
Congratulations on being a sports writer DME! I am excited for you. I can’t imagine you covering other sports besides for baseball though, especially football and basketball. I don’t think I have ever heard you say anything about any sport besides for baseball. I want to read your articles so make sure you send them my way!
haha. touche TBO. They want me to come up with suggestions for a few articles and I was thinking weekly fantasy advice and creating advanced stat sheets for the team's baseball program, but im too lazy to enter in all that data.
Any suggestions of sports articles of interest involving local teams guys? My brain is fried from the Appellate Brief
