I'm guessing this photo was shot circa 1999. Obviously we have a young Jeter and Arod, but who is the third lucky guy on the left? Big ups to anyone who can identify him. (hint: he was bad at baseball, and no it's not Neifi Perez
We are four humble men who love sports, but hate sports commentary. Peter Gammons is our hero and John Madden is our enemy. If you were to ask us our purpose, our answer would be simple: "We are forever locked in Mortal Kombat for the souls of sports fans everywhere. Statistics are our science and 'the immeasurable character of men' is the obsolete religion of blind faith. Our job is to prove that God doesn't exist and that athletes are merely cold, metal machines with no hearts or souls."

Alex Gonzalez!
I agree, but to specific, the former Cubs Alex Gonzalez, not the other one currently playing for the Braves.
The correct answer is Alex S. Gonzalez
2.5 brownie points to Mr. Anonymous
Funny side note: Former cubs 3rd overall selection Luis Montanez was projected to max out as an Alex S. Gonzalez type. Awesome, lets draft someone #3 with the potential of a career 79 OPS+
