Richard Dent Gets F@&^ed In The A$$

Richard Dent is one of the greatest DE ever. He was a part of the great 80's Bears teams, was the MVP of the '85 Superbowl, and was named to four Pro Bowls.

Oh, and he just happens to be sixth all time in sacks.

Each of at least the past three years, Dent is one of the finalist to be chosen to be a Hall of Famer, and yet each year, he seems to come up just short.

Mike Ditka told ESPNChicago recently that Dent belongs in the Hall of Fame. While Ditka was also Dent's head coach, I'm going to take those comments with a grain of salt. However, Ditka is absolutely right.

There is no good reason the voters keep leaving him out. Unfortunately, I feel this is going to be a Bert Blyleven scenario where he keeps getting so close, deserves to go, but won't go until he passes away when everyone will mourn him and remember him for his greatness
