Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson won Superbowls and were Superbowl MVPs. Further proof that you don't need a "franchise" or even good QB to get a ring. Sure it helps, but obviously not needed.
Also, Joe Namath is overrated. The man did a PHENOMINAL thing for football by helping to win Superbowl III to solidify the NFL for what it is today. But the dude threw more career INTs than TDs and was not that good of a player. Whatevs, maybe someday people will get it.
