Who Am I?

Hints:
  • I have been worth +14 FRAR person season since 2002.
  • I average 24 home runs per season.
  • I am a .270 hitter.
  • I have averaged 605 PA/season since becoming a starter.
  • I was better than Albert Pujols one year of my career.
Any guesses? This is an easy one.

Justin Morneau? That's my first guess but I don't think it's right

Also, what about Paul Konerko? He gets a lot of ABs, that HR total seems to be right, he's been in league past 2002 (but I dont quite know what FRAR is), but I can't imagine he had one year better than Pujols...

I'm not gonna give it away to everyone else, but he's already made $10 million this year

This player will make as much in 2010 as he did in 2005

I was just talking to TBO and it came out. I brought up this player’s team, and the batting order because I thought it could have some interesting scenarios with the changes they made this off season. When I mentioned his name he was “are you sure he is good enough to bat 5th?” and then when he asked me “how many homeruns” I think he averages and then I brought up his great season he had before his last free agency and I figured it out. This was after me racking my brains and having no idea.

This conversation made me think that he doesn’t deserve e to get paid as much as he did. He got his last contract because he does have great defense and was coming off a monster year batting .334, 48 homeruns, 104 runs, 121 rbi, 20 hits, and he was around 26 when he singed so you thought he could get better or maintain something close to that. He never even had a year close to that one. He is still a very good defender and a good hitter, but not that good.

Additional hint: this player made Cubsfan4ever lose a bet
