I wasn't happy when I drafted Dan Uggla last year, but needed a second basemen and got him for $11 which was a value I couldn't pass up.
How much of a clutch decision was that though. He had an awesome BA (for Uggla) and with all the injuries he was just a beast for his position
I was not a fan of Uggla before he sort of fell to me, but now realize what a great value he can be. Because of his historically bad batting average people seem to stay away from him and his value drops. Even if he batted .250 he would still help you in three categories in HR, RBI, and runs. Then he didn't hurt me in batting average last year which was a bonus. The injuries made him look better at the position, but either way if he fails cheap in an auction league snatch him up! He can be a good VALUE which is key. If you get his production cheap enough then take him even if you don’t like him.
The Ryan Zimmerman of 2010?
