Sports: A Game Of Inches

Joe Frisaro needs to check his facts

You would think it a fair assumption that an MLB.com beat writer would keep up with what is going on with his assigned team, right? Not so much. Joe Frisaro, who allegedly follows the Marlins, projected their 2010 payroll earlier today. Unfortunately, Frisaro's predictions are fated to be inaccurate, as he accounts for the salaries of players who are no longer on the Marlins in his calculations.

Hermida was traded to the Red Sox on November 5. Perhaps Frisaro should visit MLBTradeRumors or ESPN.com sometime and you know, check his facts.
