According to ESPN, Victor Zambrano's mother has been kidnapped. It would be entirely inappropriate and unfunny to point out that her kidnappers are demanding Scott Kazmir's mother in return, so we won't make such a joke.
In all seriousness though, Venezuela needs to stop kidnapping the relatives of MLB players.

How many kidnaps does that make now in Venezuela of major league baseball players relatives? It is very sad their all getting kidnapped, but I have lost count on how many times this has happened.
