In today's Rays v Yankees square off in which the Yankees were pummeled by the Rays 15-5, Nick Swisher, former 1B-turned-CF-returned-1B-turned-pitcher, tossed a scoreless frame for the Bronx Bombers. Swisher walked Upton, struck out Gabe Kaplan and then gave up a single to Willy Aybar before retiring both Carlos Pena and Pat Burrell. Swisher's line for the day was 1 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K, 0 R, good for a FIP of 4.2.
