We are four humble men who love sports, but hate sports commentary. Peter Gammons is our hero and John Madden is our enemy. If you were to ask us our purpose, our answer would be simple: "We are forever locked in Mortal Kombat for the souls of sports fans everywhere. Statistics are our science and 'the immeasurable character of men' is the obsolete religion of blind faith. Our job is to prove that God doesn't exist and that athletes are merely cold, metal machines with no hearts or souls."

Elijah Dukes was 5 minutes late to practice because he was at a charity event little league game. He was fined $500 bucks. The little leaguers decided to hold a bake sale to pay Dukes fine. This, the jersey name, and revamping the bullpen two weeks into the season...
This organization is just terrible right now.
But I really like their new GM. Not only is he a Illinois grad but I think he's a great scout- seeing as the entire D'Backs minor league system is this dude.
Right now the Red Sox AAA team might be better than the Washington Nationals, but in three years, I say the Nats make the playoffs
Three years? They have very few good pieces in the minors at the moment. Going forward, they may get better, but I'm gonna say five years, not three.
elijah dukes is odalis perez in bizzaro world
They are really are a bad team. They have no bright spots and not much of a farm system.
Elijah Dukes was fined because of his history and bad track record. He was late a few times before and warned that the nest time he was late he would be fined. They wanted to stick to their word.
